Looks like I won't be updating you on Randy de Puniet's MotoGP progress for a while.
Crashed heavily during the race today and has apparently broken his leg.
Right after Valentino Rossi came back from his 6-week absence due to his own broken leg suffered in a practice session.

Darn you Randy for depriving me of a blog favorite! I wish you speedy recovery so that I might enjoy Dan's synopsis of your career.
Plus, there was fire. Randy crashed (unknown why), and then 2 other bikes hit his fallen bike creating sparks. Must have been a fuel leak in the original crash.
Also Yor-geh blew up an engine on his bike during qualifying, and spewed oil all over the racing line. De Puniet crashed during the qualified session and injured his leg. Might have had something to do with it.
I totally blame Yor'geh.
