To revisit a previous thread, more than one word = (notice my use of an "equals" sign) a phrase (which, I must add, is inherently different from an equation), Dan.

You may notice my assertion is conveyed in an equation (quite literally, if I may say so).

And assertions do not necessarily need to be equations, but the use of equations lends power to the assertion.
