I've just started reading Dune. Which is a really long book.
I'm wondering whether I finish the book first, or the battery on the Kindle dies first.
Any bets?

Blog Overview
Probably should add an overview of my blog for all my intrepid reader(s).
Basically, its a blog about my rather eclectic interests. So far, its ranged from movies, to TV, to music, to Formula 1, to carrots. And as such, you should be prepared to be spoiled on anything I'm watching at the time. Especially the carrots. It'll give you a good reason to stay up to date on your TV.
And my blog posts are very stream-of-consciousness, so expect wild changes in topics, and random interspersed profanity and randomness.
Enjoy.

I am betting the kindle will outlast you, by quite a bit. It has skills.
But Dune has over 11,000 locations.
In other news, I don't judge books by page numbers anymore. Just Kindle locations.
For reference, the first Lord of The Rings book (a pretty long book itself) has 7,000 locations. And the only reason I know this is because that was my other option. It was either the Dune series of the Lord of the Rings series.
I'll probably read Tolkien when I'm done with Herbert.
That is acceptable. I still think the Kindle will outlast you.
