Today's Word Of The Day

Flounce.

Apparently that's a real word that can describe an action that cane be done to hair.

You're not a girl or you would know that. Flouncing can also be a descriptor for a style or movement such as walking. It's jaunty and flirtatious.

I prefer jauntiness to refer to the angle of my hats.

Jaunty is a way of saying flounce kinda, but flounce is more movement where as jaunty would describe the movement to make it a flounce as flounce is a verb and jaunty is a adjective or adverb, depending on its context in the sentence.
